We have been producing extra virgin olive oil
for over 50 years

The Oleificio Alto Tordino was born in 1958, when the founder, Ercole Nunziante, took over the oil mill from a noble family in the village of Valle San Giovanni, on the border with the Monti della Laga.

The small oil mill was beginning to be inadequate, so in 1995 the company undertook a major modernization of machinery, building structure and production technologies, relocating its headquarters about 1 km away.

Nowadays, we are specialized in the production and marketing of a genuine extra virgin olive oil, intended for demanding consumers to whom we offer an oil that preserves the scent and taste of a healthy and good fruit.

Extra virgin olive oil

Our extra virgin olive oil is obtained from the cold pressing of 100% Italian olives. The quality of the raw material and the attention to the processing stages allow us to obtain an extra virgin with an intense aroma and a unique taste, soft and balanced in its bitter and spicy components.

Hand painted oil bottles

Our oil bottles are works of art that promote the territory. The famous ceiling of San Donato and a small church in the countryside located in the village of Castelli represent just some of the over 300 unique and modern designs that were created to advertise Castelli's ceramics at the "Triennale di Milano" in 1954.
